The 2011 baseball season is one with high expectations for the SPARTANS. After falling one run short of the state tournament at the end of last year’s record setting season, the SPARTANS have their sights set on some big goals. With 10 returning letterwinners and 13 players with varsity experience, it is hard not to believe that this group can accomplish those goals. The SPARTANS will rely on a large group of seasoned veterans while welcoming some new faces who promise to make an impact and help the team take the next step towards Appleton.
ELITE EIGHT-SECTIONAL FINALISTS!
As Regional Champs the Spartan Baseball team advanced to Sectional competition and played Palmyra Eagle, winning 12-4. The team continued the competition taking on Winnebago Lutheran and with a very close game lost in the bottom of the seventh 6-5. Congratulations Spartan Baseball for an amazing season!
