Physical Education Sequence of Courses
Each student is required to take 2 years of physical education to graduate. The required classes for all students are freshman and sophomore PE as well as Fitness as a junior. Coed PE and Exercise Management may be taken as seniors as electives.
Freshman PE (1 Year)
This course focuses on team sports and places an emphasis on cooperation and teamwork among classmates. Students take part in activities to build skills in each of the sports and participate in tournaments to learn rules and utilize the skills learned. Students also learn the fundamentals of weight lifting and safety in the weight room and participate in cardio activities once a week.
